Snow Storm
This project features a snowstorm visual effect, created using Unreal Engine. The effect is driven by two particle emitters: one for snow and one for mist. Both the snow and mist emitters employ depth fade for realistic interactions with overlapping surfaces, ensuring seamless blending and visual coherence. Additionally, I used a sphere mask with pixel depth to control the opacity of the effect at different distances, enhancing the depth and realism of the snowstorm.
For the mist, I utilized Unreal Engine's smoke SubUV texture, included in the starter content. I animated the mist with the texture using flipbook animation.
